Jazeera-Thermalite™ J2 Blocks
WHAT IS IT
Jazeera-Thermalite™ J2 Blocks are masonry blocks having properties such as High Thermal Insulation, Excellent Fire resistance, Lightweight, Sound Insulation and absorption etc. It is manufactured of 100% natural raw materials such as sand, cement, lime, water etc., that produces millions of aerated cells in the blocks. The physical and chemical process is undertaken by advanced engineering techniques to produce a final product J-Thermalite Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC).
AAC products have been widely used all over the world and is suitable for all types of climates (the frigid temperatures of northern Europe, the harsh salt air of the French Riveria, the extreme cold and heat-waves of GCCs), for all regions (from Northern Finland to the deserts of the Mid-East) and for various applications (small villas to highest sky-scrapers) over 80 years proved to be a very durable material. Apart from providing a comfortable home interior, AAC reduces environmental pollutions through many ways.
WHERE CAN IT BE USED
- External thermal insulating wall
- Fire resistant block
- Partition wall
- Thermal insulating system
- Fire protection material to steel column and beam
- Thermalite floor block
- Load bearing wall (subject to local regulations)
- Party wall
- Lightweight filler in concrete mixture, for raising floor level, for filling void space between structural elements etc.
- Hourdi blocks (filler) for concrete slab
WHY IS IT GREEN
AAC is manufactured of 100 % natural raw materials such as Sand, Cement, lime, water etc. following major international standards and doesn’t contain any organic or toxic materials.
The wastage during production is 100% recyclable as important active slurry for maintaining required viscosity during production and is used as raw material (approx. 15%) during production. During steam curing, high percentage of steam once used is collected back to the storage and is re-used again for subsequent curing. This ensures less amount of energy used during production.
AAC Thermalite block is a very good recyclable building material from construction and demolition wastages. It is used:
a.) As lightweight filler in concrete mixture, for raising floor level, for filling void space between structural elements etc.
b.) As absorbent for all types of liquids, oil, hazardous chemicals etc.
c). As absorbent bed for some types domestic animals’ cage such cat etc. (as absorbent for cat litters)
Use of AAC in buildings reduces pollutions associated with running of air-conditioning equipments because comparatively less amount of equipments are used in such buildings. Also it reduces use of electricity on the same cause. Due to its light weight character, using AAC reduces materials used for structure of a building and that way it reduces a high amount of materials used for and the cost.
Apart from this, AAC provides three times more volume of production than the raw materials used for the production. This also reduces the use of natural resources used for the production of other masonry blocks.
OTHER INFORMATION
AAC Thermalite blocks provides the following major properties and characteristics (advantages).
- High thermal insulation
- Lightweight
