WHAT IS IT
Makrolon® multi UV 5M is one of Bayer Sheet Europe´s latest generation of energy saving sheet products. Its innovative M structure achieves excellent insulation properties. The 5M is further evidence of Bayer Sheet Europe´s commitment to ongoing investment in energy saving technology. This coincides with a strong demand for energy saving construction materials.
The 5M Energy sheets are easy to install on light substructures thanks to their low area weight but combined with high impact strength. A decisive factor in reducing building costs. As with all products from Bayer Sheet Europe, these sheets have a special co-extruded UV coating and are therefore completely weather-resistant.
The 5M multi wall sheets are intended primarily for roofing outdoor buildings in residential properties, for example conservatories or verandas. Makrolon® multi UV 5M is available in thicknesses of 25, 32 and 40 mm and widths of 980, 1200, 1230 and 2100 mm, in the colours transparent, white, bronze.

WHY IS IT GREEN
Due to its thermal insulation properties Makrolon® multi UV 5M helps you to minimising energy consumption. Depending on the thickness of the sheet the heat transition coefficient Ug ranges between of 1.0 W/m2K and 1.3 W/m2K, which allows annual energy savings of up to seven liters of heating oil, or 7.7 cubic meters of natural gas (gaseous) per square meter At the end of their product life, Makrolon® sheets can be recycled as energy.
