What do "Keeping Shanghai Cool," "Keeping Homes Warm," and "Keeping Ice Cream Refrigerated" have in common? These are all new video elements that speak to the technology and product breadth of Carrier on its new global website, www.carrier.com.

The new site quickly engages visitors with a carousel of short videos and other interactive media that cover the company's global scope in home comfort, buildings solutions, transport refrigeration and commercial refrigeration, and delivers immediate access to the local market, automatically identifying the visitor's country of origin.

Detailed product and service offerings are one click away within Carrier's local country sites. Carrier, the world leader in high technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.

Carrier Unveils Dynamic New Website for Improved Customer Experience

With a clean, bold look, Carrier's new website is designed to allow visitors to learn more about Carrier in the 170 countries it operates while focusing on a new showcase function that features Carrier's product and service expertise in global markets. Other areas allow visitors to explore Carrier's deep commitment to leadership, sustainability and innovation, building on Willis Carrier's invention of modern air conditioning in 1902.

"Web users today demand a quick, engaging and fulfilling experience, and the new carrier.com is designed to deliver that exactly," said John Mandyck, vice president, sustainability, marketing and communications, UTC Climate, Controls & Security. "We hope our visitors and customers will appreciate the ease of use and immediate access to the products and technologies that Carrier offers to make our world a better place."

In addition to the new Carrier.com site, the company also launched two related microsites to provide more detailed information on its leadership in sustainability ( www.naturalleader.com ) and its rich history ( www.williscarrier.com ). On naturalleader.com, visitors can find out about Carrier's commitment to sustainability and its beliefs that green products must start at a green company. The williscarrier.com site chronicles the robust legacy of Dr. Willis Carrier and the invention that has made the world a cooler place to live, work and play.
