Oceanic sources their host of products directly from manufactures around the world, and imports the materials into Dubai, UAE. Oceanic’s warehousing facilities stock FSC Certified; MDF, plywood (commercial and film faced), hard and soft timber species, and door core for fire and non-fire door sets. The materials are marketed and shipped to UAE, Oman, Qatar, KSA and Bahrain. Our products comply and contribute towards green building schemes as they are FSC certified and within the chain of custody.

As Oceanic’s main client base were joinery/mill companies, it was a natural and a strategic decision to pursue a sustainable timber source. FSC COC certification was evaluated as the best scheme to follow and practice, based on USGBC’s LEED rating system, and also the FSC scheme was endorsed by NGOs such as Greenpeace, and WWF.

Thus far Oceanic has supplied FSC certified; plywood, MDF/HDF, door core and softwood/hardwood timber for projects pursuing LEED, Estidama and multi-nationals that are incorporating CSR polcies on a global scale.

Masdar has also benefitted from Oceanic’s sustainable sourcing practices, by utilizing FSC certified wood products at their 1st project phase.
