WHAT IS IT
Gyproc FireStop plasterboard consists of an aerated gypsum core with glass fibre and other additives encased in, and firmly bonded to, strong pink face paper and brown reverse side paperliners. Gyproc FireStop plasterboard is available in 12.5 and 15mm thickness and are suitable for drylining internal surfaces.
WHERE CAN IT BE USED
Gyproc FireStop plasterboard is used in Gyproc partition, ceiling and shaftwall systems to give increased fire protection. Also used for protecting structural steel from fire. Gyproc FireStop can be finished using Gyproc Fibre Tape or Gyproc Paper Tape and Gyproc Jointing Compound. Suitable for Direct decoration.
WHY IS IT GREEN
Gyproc plasterboards are made in the UAE in a state of the art, energy efficient, facility that opened in April 2010. Sustainability is a key priority for Gyproc which is why all Gyproc plasterboards are encased in paper that is 100% recycled.
In addition Gyproc consistently review plant performance and have reduced water consumption, introduced energy optimisation and now utilise waste heat from the manufacturing process elsewhere in the factory. Gyproc plasterboards can be recycled at end of life.
