WHAT IS IT

LIGHT FIELDS LED discreetly fits into the architecture without ever upstaging the architect’s or designer’s vision. The emphasis is on the light, not on the luminaire. Due to LED technology, the luminous field reaches a level of uniformity that could never be achieved before. Thanks to the MPO+ micro-pyramidal optic, the only thing that really gets noticed is brilliant light; the luminaire unit fades into the background. This makes LIGHT FIELDS a flexible architectural and interior design tool.

LIGHT FIELDS LED meets extremely high requirements in terms of design and lighting quality without neglecting efficiency. Until now, the T16 lamp was the dominant light source in office illumination. With an unrivalled high level of uniformity and a luminaire efficiency of more than 70 lumens per watt, this innovative LED luminaire with more than 81 lumens per watt, marks the beginning of an era of technological change. An additional advantage for economic efficiency and the environment: the long service life of the light source reduces maintenance to the cleaning of the luminaire body. Due to its smooth surface, this requires only little time. The savings in energy and maintenance costs lead to quick amortisation. LIGHT FIELDS LED bears the label for especially resource-friendly products.

The optical system
The three-layer MPO+ sandwich design (diffuser, MPO+ and protective layer) makes LIGHT FIELDS LED produce brilliant light, ensuring glare control in conformity with the EN 12464-1:2011 standard. UGR values of < 19 make for perfect office lighting technology.

For vertical displays, luminance levels of a max. of 1500 cd/m² above 65° are provided. Luminance levels have been reduced even at steep angles of view in order to reduce glare from reflections on steeply inclined displays as well, e.g. laptops or tablet PCs. Another benefit: workstations can be arranged regardless of the position of the luminaires.
